Borderline Fluent™

Speak like a human. Lie like a machine. Pass passport control in 2035 by answering android officers out loud, in their language.

Borderline Fluent: a traveller holding a passport faces a row of android border officers behind glass. Different borders. Same machines.

How it plays

It’s 2035. You’re an agent passing passport control, and the officers are first-generation androids that speak only their country’s language. You answer out loud. A retinal implant listens, translates and whispers suggested replies, not always right. The officers watch your face.

Get past the desk, then the Kade-Sorensen behavioral assessment. One wrong word and your cover is blown.

13 languages, 31 countries

Officers speak English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese and Chinese, at airports in 31 real countries. Your own face can go on the passport, as a citizen coming home.

Everything on your phone

Speech recognition, the officers’ minds (Gemini Nano, Android’s built-in AI) and their voices all run on the phone. The game has no internet access, no account, no ads and no analytics. On first setup, Android downloads the on-device AI models and language packs; after that the game runs offline.
